​​​Pulsed Electromagnetic Frequency (PEMF) Therapy is an FDA approved machine that utilizes a copper coil to pulse a magnetic field into the body, creating an cellular healing effect by re-energizing damaged cells.  


When cells become distressed from disease, aging, trauma or toxins, they lose their ability to function efficiently. PEMF uses electromagnetic waves that pulse on precise frequencies enabling cells to recover/reset their ability to create energy and function, a battery recharge if you will.


PEMF has been widely used for over 60 years by NASA (for bone loss and depression), the VA, John Hopkins and the Mayo Clinic. 


PEMF at Rejuvenation Physical Therapy helps individuals who experience migraines, sports injuries, in addition to other pain syndromes. PEMF assists in regenerating damaged and diseased tissue and accelerates repair from strains, sprains, torn tendons, ligaments and fractured bones.   It also improves oxygen flow and nutrients to the cells by enhancing circulation and reducing stress.

There are various attachments which allow us to treat whole body with the mat, or using rings directed at an inflammed or arthritic joint or region of spine.

In summary PEMF therapy energizes cells with healthy pulsed frequencies, as well as countering toxic EMFs in our environment. 


At Rejuvenation Therapy, Dr. Gayle utilizes the Pulsed Harmonix True Pulse 2000 Pro.  In terms of frequency, everyone responds differently to PEMF therapy.  Depending on the issue being addressed, initially starting with 15-30min/day is recommended.


CONTRAINDICATIONS to use:  pregnancy, an organ transplant recipient, use a non-MRI safe IUD, have or use a pacemaker, hearing aid, or other electronic implants/devices.
